先日会社の上司と昔の洋楽の話題で盛り上がった。
私とは６歳くらい違うので、私が中学・高校の頃の曲がちょうど話題の中心に。
上司が特に思い出があると語ったのは、ポリスの「見つめていたい」だそうだ。私もポリスは好きで、CDを集めた過去がある。
この曲、上司は大学の英語の授業に歌詞の穴埋めをやっていたそうで記憶に残ったとのこと。
私は中学生？だったか、この歌詞を英語の勉強だと言って訳したりもしていた。
